Preliminary Study on Quoting The Book of Songs in the Introduction of Mothercraft in Biographies of Exemplary Women——The Demonstration of Female Images

从《列女传》卷一《母仪》篇着手,将《母仪》篇所宣扬的主旨与其所引诗句结合起来分析研究,以期对《列女传》所标举的女性形象、《列女传》和《诗经》的主旨本义等都有更进一步的认识,同时对先秦两汉时期儒家思想对女性的要求和当时的社会生活等有更进一步的了解。

This paper,starting from the Introduction Mothercraft of Biographies of Exemplary Women,makes a study by combining the theme of the chapter Mothercraft with the quoted verses in it,makes further understanding on the female image demonstrated in Biographies of Exemplary Women as well as the main idea and the original meaning of Biographies of Exemplary Women and The Book of Songs;meanwhile,the paper has a better understanding of the demands of women by Confucianism in pre-Qin period and the social life at that time.
