An Analysis of the Effect of ADTD Abnormality on Lightning Location Data

2007年底浙江省Active Divectory Topology Diagrammer(ADTD)闪电定位网持续运行异常,为了分析系统异常运行对闪电定位资料的影响,选用浙江省系统异常前后2007和2008年(以下简称07和08年)的闪电定位资料,通过对07和08年闪电定位资料的月份—时段、地闪密度、电流强度累积百分比及ADTD的定位方式方法进行对比分析。结果显示,07和08年在个别月份和时段地闪分布特征存在差异,但总体时间分布曲线一致性较好。通过对雷电日方差分析,07和08年雷电日在0.05和0.01水平下均不存在显著性差异。07和08年地闪密度值在6次/(km2·a)以上高密度区域有多处重叠。通过普通QQplot分析,07和08年地闪密度数据集离得较近,数据分布有较好的一致性。无论是正地闪还是负地闪,50 k A以下的电流强度占绝大多数;在不同电流强度值累积百分中,08年的值均要高于07年。从定位方式对比来看,07年四站定位方式百分比与08年相差不大,但三站定位方式百分比高出5.1%,由此可认为08年的探测精度和效率略低于07年。总的认为,尽管ADTD运行异常对闪电定位资料的质量造成一定影响,但07和08年总体特征差异不十分明显。

At the end of2007,Zhejiang Province ADTD(Active Divectory Topology Diagrammer)lightning location network continued to run abnormally.In order to analyze the effect of abnormal operation on lightning location data,this paper selects lightning location data for2007and2008in Zhejiang Province before and after the system anomaly respectively.And applys the ADTD method to the monthly lightning location data for2007and2008,including the ground-lightning density,the current intensity accumulation percentage and the ADTD location.The results show that there are slightly differences of the groundlightning distribution in individual months and time between2007and2008,but a better agreement for the overall time distribution curve.Also there was no significant difference of the variance of lightning days at the confidence level of0.05and0.01between2007and2008.There are several overlapping densities above6times/(km2·a)in the high density areas for both of2007and2008.Through general QQplot analysis,the ground-lightning density data sets were close to each other in both2007and2008,so the distribution of ground-lightning density has good consistency.Whether positive or negative ground-lightnings with current intensity less than50kA were the vast majority.In the cumulative percentage of current intensity,the value in2008was higher than that in2007.Comparison of location methods,the percentage at four-station location method in2007was not so much different from that in2008,but the percentage at three-station location method in2007was above5.1%higher than that in2008,it may be considered that the detection accuracy and efficiency for2008was slightly higher than that in2007.Although the ADTD abnormal operation at the end of2007have a certain impact on the quality of lightning location data,but the differences of overall characteristics are not very obvious between2007and2008.
