The Anti-Japanese and National Salvation Movement Led by the CPC Hunan Arm during the Counter-Japanese War(1937-1945)

贯彻党的抗日民族统一战线政策,是中共湖南党组织领导湖南各界群众进行抗日救亡活动的最有力的政治武器。中共湖南党组织在坚持贯彻党的抗日民族统一战线政策的同时,始终立足于为全民族最广大人民群众谋利益的宗旨,深入社会基层,通过工人、农民、青年、妇女等各种群众团体领导群众抗日救亡运动,粉碎国民党当局对中共抗日救亡活动的压制。

The CPC’s policy of a united national anti-Japanese front is the most powerful political weapon in the anti-Japanese and national salvation movement led by the CPC Hunan arm that involved people from all walks of life in Hunan.The CPC Hunan arm always saw it as its ultimate goal to serve the interests of the broadest possible masses of the nation whilst persistently implementing the CPC’s policy of a united national anti-Japanese front.It joined the grassroots,led the mass anti-Japanese and national salvation movement via various social groups composed of workers,peasants,youth and women,and thwarted the Kuomintang authorities’attempt to suppress the CPC’s anti-Japanese and national salvation efforts.
