The images of salt gods in the ancient wells of Bashu are rich and colorful with profound connotations.“Tianshi”,the Salt God of Lingjing,is the official spokesman for the salt profit while the image of“poison dragon”of Lingjing is the special symbol of emperor's salt right. The Salt God“Lady of the Jade”represents the lower people's demand and desire of salt interests. After a long game of the worship of the gods between the government and the people, the ideal state of contradictions and unification was finally reached. The Salt God“Tianshi”and“Lady of the Jade”of Lingjing in Bashu were worshiped at the same time.
