Plato's dialogue collection is undoubtedly the treasure of Greek culture.Symposium is widely regarded as one of Plato's two greatest dialogues,either greater or lesser than the national one.Symposium is a dialogue,set in the context of a conversation between a group of Greek men in a banquet,and the subject of discussion is the nature of love.Symposium tells the story of love from the low to the high,and it also presents Plato's inner belief that the eternal truth is eternal.In this paper,the author makes an analysis of the love of the six different people in the book of Symposium,so that Plato's understanding of the nature of love can be enlightening to the people in the present.
