This paper mainly introduces the connection technology commonly used in the current automobile manufacturing industry,and illustrates the application method of different connection technologies in automotive body design,as well as their respective advantages,disadvantages and matters needing attention.It describes the importance and the necessity combined with the automotive lightweight program,finally,it summarizes the application of connection technology in the domestic and predicts the future trend of connecting technology in automobile design.
