On Education of Gentleman's Personality in University Libraries

"君子"是礼制时代的产物,是古代中国礼乐文明的传承者和体现者。挖掘其积极意涵,返本开新,以为新时代大学生教育增添高尚人格化成的丰厚文化养分,不仅必须,而且必要。在此过程中,图书馆可以通过向读者提供其所拥有的文献资料和信息阅读的分享功能,发挥其在大学生君子人格教育中润物无声的独特作用。

As the product of etiquette era,“gentleman”is the heirs and embodiment of ancient China’s etiquette and music culture.Reviewing the classic and creating the new,the author regards that it is not only a must,but also a necessity to add abundant cultural nutrition with well-qualified characteristics for university students in the new era.During this period,our libraries can play a unique role gradually in educating students’personality of“gentleman”by providing them with documents and reading information which can be shared in public.
