摘要
徐薯18是江苏徐州地区农业科学研究所育成的高产、稳产、高抗根腐病和适应性广的甘薯[Ipomoea batatas(L.)Lam.]新品种,由徐薯18作为直接亲本先后衍生出优良甘薯新品种52个。该种质遗传基础丰富,抗病性好,配合力高,具有较高的利用价值。今后的甘薯遗传改良还应该重视该品种的利用,同时还需利用国外优异种质资源和野生种资源,用以拓宽甘薯种质的遗传基础。
Xushu18is a new sweetpotato cultivar with high resistance to root rot disease,high and stable yield,and broad adaptiveness.It was bred by Xuzhou Agricultural Science Research Institute.52excellent cultivars were bred from Xushu18as a direct parent.The germplasm Xushu18possessed rich genetic base,high disease resistance and high combining ability.Breeders should attach great importance on Xushu18to improve sweetpotato breeding in the future.Meanwhile,wild species and foreign germplasm materials are also needed for broadening the genetic base of sweetpotato germplasm in China.
