强化担当精神培育担当品性

Enhancing the Implementation of Spiritual Culture and Developing University Students' Character and Morality of Responsibility

习近平总书记在党的十九大报告中说,"青年兴则国家兴,青年强则国家强。青年一代有理想、有本领、有担当,国家就有前途,民族就有希望。"这不仅是对当代青年特别是当代大学生提出的殷切期望,更是当代大学生在建设新时代中国特色社会主义伟大征程中的历史责任和使命要求。其实质是要求当代大学生必须培育勇于担当的优秀品质、践行社会主义核心价值观,把担当作为化为行为习惯。这些品行习惯的养成既需要加强外在教化,也需要强化自我修养;既需要修心,修性,也需要修能,修行;既需要理想信念修养,道德情操修养,世界观、人生观、价值观修养,爱国爱党修养,责任观修养,也需要使命感修养,感恩心修养,诚信品质修养,执著精神修养,能力素质修养等全方位全身心修养。只有这样,当代大学生才能坚定理想信念,志存高远,脚踏实地,在接力奋斗中放飞青春梦想,勇担新时代中国特色社会主义事业合格建设者和可靠接班人的重任。

In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that a nation can prosper only when its young people thrive,and that a country can have hope and future only when its younger generations have ideals,ability,and a strong sense of responsibility.This is not only the expectation for Chinese youth and university students,but also the historical duty and career of building socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.Its essence is that university students should implement the culture of excellent character and the pursuit of core values,which need external enhancement and internal self-cultivation of mind,spirit,capacity and conduction.University students should embrace the firm belief of the nation and the party with ambition and grounded endeavor,and accomplish the great mission of building socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
