现场采访中模糊限制语的语用分析——以里约奥运会CCTV 5对游泳项目的现场采访为例

Pragmatic Analysis of Hedges in Live Interviews : A Case Study of CCTV 5 Live Interviews on Swimming Events in Rio Olympic Games

现场采访中,为了更恰当地表达自己,记者和被采访者往往会使用交际策略,模糊限制语就是最有效的策略之一。研究选用今年中国游泳队奥运现场采访为语料,通过定量定性的方法,对其中的模糊限制语进行语用分析,讨论并总结模糊限制语在现场采访中的语用功能。在现场采访中,使用模糊限制语可以达到提高说话者的可信度和可靠度,保护双方面子,缩短说话者和听者之间的距离等积极语用效果。

In live interviews,in order to perform certain speech acts properly,the interviewers and interviewees usually tend to try some communicative strategies,in which hedging is one of the most effective ways.This thesis tries to analyze the relationships between the use of hedges and the Brown and Levinson’s face theory and explore how linguistic hedges function as a communicative strategy to save the faces of both sides from the perspective of pragmatics.CCTV 5 live interviews with the Chinese swimming athletes,which gained great attention,are chosen as the data.After a pragmatic analysis of hedges in TV live interviews,this thesis claims that hedges employed in language interaction can achieve at least six positive pragmatic functions,such as increasing the credibility and precision,enhancing face-protection,shortening the distance between the speaker and hearer,etc.The present study,on the one hand,attempts to improve the understanding of the linguistic hedges.On the other hand,it can contribute to the future development of the TV live interviews as well as the professional improvement of the reporter to some degree.
