Animation restrictions have protected national animation industry to some extent.Although its telecast time has been cut down significantly in China's TV channels,Japanese animation has found its way and spread widely via Internet and new media in China. The subculture such as Otaku,Cosplay, and doujin comic books derived from Japanese animation has been intensified and has great impact on teenagers. The subculture challenges Chinese core value system on the negative basis, but from positive aspect it also eases teenagers'social stress.Teenagers have built up their self-identification from subculture and created a unique consumption culture.
