In this paper,the definition and characteristics of fine milling and micro milling were explained.Compared with traditional milling,the factors that have effect on fine and micro milling accuracy and surface grain were analyzed in details.Furthermore,the paper list the application areas of fine/micro milling and discussed the issues that needs to be concerned within its application.The statements above provide a theoretical and technical basis for fine/micro milling techniques applied in parement maintenance machinery and equipment.
