英汉时空偏向认知理论下的外宣英译策略——以河北沧州渤海新区外宣英译为例

摘要 外宣翻译是以汉语为信息源,以英语等外国语为信息载体,以外国语的受众为对象的交际活动。在遵循"外宣三贴近"翻译原则的基础上,将从英汉语言时空偏向的认知特性视角下,在语言差异层面提出外宣英译的策略,以期借助语言在跨文化交际活动中的传播功能,促进积极有效的对外交流与合作。 Taking Chinese as the source language and English and other foreign language as the carrier of information,and English-speaking people as the targeted audience,publicity-oriented C-E translation is a lingual communication.From the cognitive perspective of temporality-prominent English and spatiality-prominent Chinese and by following the codes of publicity-oriented C-E translation and quoting publicity-oriented C-E translation examples in Bohai New Area of Cangzhou of Hebei Province,the paper proposes some publicity-oriented C-E translation strategies mainly from the differences between Chinese and English,aiming to promote effective communication and cooperation of two parties with the aid of communicative function of language in cross-cultural contact.
