[Purpose/Significance]The Center for a New American Security(CNAS)is a new think tank specializing in the field of de鄄fense and national security.By analyzing all its published articles and reports related to China's military,the essay is to present a compre鄄hensive understanding of its attitudes,priorities,and key research fellows etc.and furthermore to understand its influence on the U.S pub鄄lic opinion and policy-making process.[Method/Process]To this end,the essay conducts a statistic analysis on the products of CNAS'Chinese military studies from 2012 to 2016.[Result/Conclusion]It is obvious that with a conservative perspective,CNAS holds a vigilant and alert attitude toward China's military modernization.And its viewpoints and suggestions have exerted considerable impacts on U.S.public opinions and policy-making.
