The method and example of intermediate verification of measuring instrument were discussed.The contents were introduced in detail,including verification object,verification item,verification method,intermediate verification of automatic Kjeldahl analyzer and UV-1800 ultraviolet spectrophotomete.Each measuring instrument had its metrological verification regulation,and most of the measuring instruments can choose the best intermediate verification item and intermediate verification method by reference to its verification regulation.Intermediate verification was not metrological verification.From economic,practical and reliability,each laboratory should carry out the inspection according to its own actual conditions.
