Re-Categorization of Chinese Basic Vocabulary Translation from the Perspective of the Cognitive Category Theory

基本层次范畴理论的研究对翻译的相关领域具有一定的理论和实践价值;翻译的过程本身就是对词汇进行再范畴化的过程。本文从基本层次范畴理论角度出发,探讨汉语基本范畴词汇翻译的不同范畴间的转换,以及同级、越级的处理问题,从而为翻译实践活动中词汇转换提供更具操作性的翻译策略,旨在为汉语范畴词汇的翻译再范畴化提供新视角,深化对翻译本体的认识。

The study of the Basic-Level Category Theory is of great value for translation field.Language translation is the re-categorization process.From the perspective of the Basic-Level Category Theory,this paper addresses the conversion of the different categories of Chinese Basic Vocabulary.The aim of the research is to provide more practical translation strategies to the specific translation of Chinese Basic Vocabulary.In addition,the study opens a new perspective to the translation recategorization,which can deepen our cognition of the ontology of translation.
