食管鳞状细胞癌组织Galectin-9表达与预后的关系

Expression of Galectin-9 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and its relationship with prognosis

目的探讨肿瘤组织半乳糖凝集素-9(Galectin-9)在食管鳞状细胞癌中的表达及其与预后关系。方法纳入两院收治的78例食管鳞状细胞癌患者进行研究,于出院当日测定Galectin-9在患者血清、肿瘤组织中的表达水平,随访2年,分析预后良好(无事件生存)、预后不良(转移、复发、死亡)情况,并比较预后良好、预后不良患者的Galectin-9表达水平。结果通过2年随访发现,在78例患者中,有35例预后良好,占44.87%,43例预后不良,占55.13%;经COX回归性分析发现,患者病理分期、浸润深度、血清和肿瘤组织Galectin-9表达与预后不良直接相关(P<0.05)。结论 Galectin-9表达与食管鳞状细胞癌患者预后密切相关,预后良好者Galectin-9表达水平相对较高。

Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of Galectin-9 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and the prognosis.Methods A total of 78 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma were enrolled in this study.The expression of Galectin-9 in the serum and tumor tissue was measured on the last day before they were discharged from hospital.Patients were followed up for 2 years and the prognosis including both good prognosis(no event survival)and poor prognosis(metastasis,recurrence and death)were analyzed.The expression level of galectin-9 in patients with good and poor prognosis was compared.Results After 2 years of follow-up,35 patients had good prognosis,accounting for 44.87%,and 43 patients had poor prognosis,accounting for 55.13%.According to the COX regression analysis,the pathological stage,the depth of invasion,the expression of Galectin-9 in serum and tumor tissues were positively correlated with the poor prognosis(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of Galectin-9 is closely related to the prognosis of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,and the expression level of Galectin-9 is relatively high in patients with good prognosis
