台湾农会发展及其困境分析

Development and Predicament of Taiwan Farmers' Association

台湾农会经历了日据时期艰难发展,最终由国民党政权改造并逐渐定型为三级农会。农会对农村经济增长和农民生活的改善发挥了积极影响,表现为推行了各项农业政策和新技术、建立了农产品运销体系、为农民提供了金融服务等。随着台湾经济的转型,农会将面临着农村人口减少、组织在地区间的非均衡发展,以及经营管理不当的生存挑战。

Taiwan Farmers’Association is an organization founded to protect the interests of farmers.Taiwan Farmers’Association developed difficultly in the Japanese occupation period,and then was reformed gradually and ultimately defined as the third level farmers’organization by Kuomintang.Farmers’Association plays an important role in the economic growth and life improvement in rural areas of Taiwan,including the implementation of agricultural policy and new technology,the establishment of transport and sale system,the offering of financial service for farmers,etc.With the economic transformation in Taiwan,Farmers’Association is going to face more challenges for living,such as the population decline in rural areas,the unbalanced development among organizations in different regions,and the improper managements.
