摘要
本文以缅甸478位非华裔少儿汉语学习者为调查对象,通过问卷调查和课堂观察等研究手段,运用定性和定量相结合的研究方法分析了其学习动机,结果如下:1.9岁-13岁学习者为从众型动机,学习动机波动不定。2.14岁-15岁汉语学习者的学习动机相对稳定,多表现为工具型动机,女性的学习动机强于男性。3.选择一门外语时,大部分学习者倾向于选择汉语;但整体而言,学习汉语的动机比学习英语的动机弱。4.可以通过HSK考试和课堂活动激发学习者的学习动机。相应的教学建议是:教材方面宜针对少儿的学习特点与动机提升教材的趣味性和实用性;教法方面特别提倡采取游戏教学法来组织教学;语言测试方面建议通过YCT和HSK的培训和考试激发学生学习的积极性。
This thesis takes 478 non-Chinese children Chinese learners in Burma as the respondents.By means of questionnaire,classroom observation and so on,the author uses the approach of qualitative and quantitative analysis to analyze these students’learning motivation.The results are as follows:First,learners from 9 to 13 have the motivation of following the mass,in which learning motivation is unsteady.Second,the learning motivation of 14-15 years old learners is relatively stable,most of them manifest as Instrumental motivation,and the learning motivation of female is stronger than that of male.Third,when choosing a foreign language,the majority of the learners tend to choose Chinese,but learners’motivation to learn Chinese is weaker than that of learning English as a whole.Fourth,learners’learning motivation can be stimulated through HSK test and classroom activities.The corresponding teaching suggestions are as follows:In terms of textbooks,we can improve the interestingness and practicability of textbooks according to children’s learning characteristics and motivation.In terms of teaching method,we especially advocate game teaching method to organize education.As to language test,the training and examination of YCT and HSK can be used to stimulate the learning enthusiasm of students.
