电影语篇多模态符号的互动与整合——以电影《美女与野兽》(2017)为例

The Interaction and Integration of Multimodal Symbols in Film Discourse-Take Beauty and the Beast( 2017) as an example

电影是集声音、语言、图像等多种符号系统于一体的动态多模态语篇。电影语篇中的各种模态符号系统均具有意义潜势,能够发挥概念、人际、语篇三大元功能。本文运用多模态话语分析理论,从模态再现意义、互动意义、构图意义三个维度对电影《美女与野兽》(2017)的几个典型场景进行阐释与分析,发现电影语篇中的语言模态、视觉模态和声音模态之间存在相互补充、互为强化的关系,三者相互整合与协作,共同构建影片的主题意义。

Film is such a dynamic multimodal discourse that is composed of various symbol systems such as sounds,languages and images.All of the multimodal symbol systems in film discourse have meaning potential to develop the three functions of conceptual,interpersonal and discourse.With the multimodal discourse analysis theory,this paper will interpret and analyze several typical scenes in Beauty and the Beast(2017)from the dimensions of representing meaning,interactive meaning and compositional meaning.It will eventually find that the linguistic mode,visual modal and sound modal are supplemental and strengthening with each other.With interaction and integration,these multimodals construct the thematic meaning of film.
