我国雕版刻书事业在唐代逐渐活跃,唐代刻书尤以晚唐两川较为繁荣,依据实物及文献资料其刻书在时间、地点、内容以及装帧版式上都具有鲜明特点。晚唐两川刻书的繁荣与其政治稳定、经济繁荣、造纸业发达等因素密不可分。

Engraving books were gradually active in the Tang dynasty.Especially in the late Tang Dynasty,engraving books were more prosperous in the areas of Liangchuan.According to the literature and material information,the engraving books in Liangchuan have distinct characteristics in terms of time,place,content,binding and format.Its prosperity related closely to the stable politics,prosperous economy and developed paper-making.
