General Practitioners should Play an Important Role in the Diagnosis and Management of Heart Failure

心力衰竭是一种常见的综合征,预后不良,医疗费用高,但由于症状非特异性,早期诊断困难。基层医疗机构在识别心力衰竭患者,提供以个人为中心的全程护理方面起着至关重要的作用。2016年,欧洲心血管初级保健学会(EPCCS)对基层医疗有关心力衰竭的诊断策略和管理进行了讨论并更新了实践指南,目的是促进全科医生在管理心力衰竭患者整体健康状况方面发挥关键作用。

Heart failure(HF)is a common syndrome with a poor prognosis and high healthcare cost.Due to nonspecific symptoms,it is difficult to be diagnosed early.Primary care has a vital role in identifying persons with HF and in providing holistic,person-centred care from the first symptoms to the end of life.In 2016,the European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society(EPCCS)explored the diagnosis and management for HF in primary care with new scientific insights and updated the corresponding practice guidance,enhancing the crucial role of general practitioners in the management of the overall health status of HF patients.
