The application of computer technology occupies an important position in the forestry economy.Based on the elaboration of the status and existing problems of the forestry economy in our country,the paper compares the traditional ways with the management of computer technologies.It finds that the latter model has obvious advantages in resource management,data management and sustainable development.Finally,it summarizes the significance of computer technology in forestry economy from the aspects of innovation and development,rational allocation of resources,balanced development of economy and ecology,and provides the basis for the integration of computer technology and forestry economic management.
