女真完颜家族的崛起始于函普入赘完颜部,函普因平息部落之间的争端而得到奖赏,并娶六十岁的贤女;四世祖绥可率部迁徙,使完颜家族获得了发展的机会;后经昭祖到穆宗几代人的努力,以节度使身份号令诸部。完颜部羽翼丰满,从为辽朝"鹰犬"转变为反抗辽朝的先锋。

The rise of Nvzhen Wanyan started since Hanpu’s marriage with Wanyan.Hanpu was rewarded for his contribution to putting down the tribal disputes and married the Lady of Virtue who was 60 years old.The fourth ancestor led the Wanyans to immigrate to a new place where they rose as a powerful tribe.With the efforts of several generations,they,as military governors,were able to order the other tribes.When they became more powerful,they became the pioneers who fought against the Liao Dynasty.
