Cognitive Interpretation of Adaption in the Poetry Translation of Hongloumeng

诗词是《红楼梦》作品不可分割的重要部分,这些诗词因其语言的简约性给意义认知和翻译带来不少困难。基于Langacker所提出的视角、详略度及辖域的三个认知维度,运用调适方法可以对《红楼梦》诗词英译的各种处理方法作出合理解释,为翻译理论与实践提供了合理的认知依据和新的启示。

Poetry,indispensable parts of Hongloumeng,often puts their translations into difficulties due to their conciseness of meanings.Based on perspective,specificity and scope by Langacker,cognitive adaptation can be used to explain various methods of poetry translation,which provides a reasonable cognitive approach and a new enlightenment for the translation from the theory and practice.
