Based on years of experience in high voltage cable test and maintenance,this paper summarizes the common causes of high voltage cable faults,and makes in-depth analysis with production examples.Several measures to prevent the failure of high-voltage cables are put forward.The relevant conclusions are of great significance for the operation and maintenance of cables and the effective reduction of the failure rate of high-voltage cables.
