On the Application of CBI in Business English Teaching

随着信息时代的飞速发展以及国际交往的日益频繁,商务英语作为一门专业用途英语,已经成为一门热门科目。传统的商务英语课程主要以语言知识和技巧为中心,不利于高校外语专业教学过程中复合型人才培养目标的实现。文章通过分析以内容为中心的教学模式的特点和优势,探讨了CBI模式在商务英语教学的可行性,指出了商务英语教学课堂活动设计中的基本原则和应用策略。

With the rapid development of information technology and cultural exchanges,business English has become a hot subject with its specialized purposes.The traditional business English teaching is not conducive to the cultivation of compound talents,focusing on language knowledge and skills.The thesis explores the applicability of CBI in business English teaching and points out the basic principles of classroom activity design and teaching strategies in business English class through an analysis of the features and advantages of CBI.
