基于SWOT分析的高校全英文教学探索与实践--以“数据库原理及应用”课程为例

Exploration and Practice of All English Teaching in Universities Based on SWOT Analysis——Taking "Database Principles and Applications" Course as an Example

全英文教学是培养具有国际视野、具备国际交流能力和国际竞争力人才的重要途径。在采用SWOT分析法对当前国内高校全英文教学现状进行分析的基础上,在对"数据库原理及应用"课程进行全英文教学的过程中,在教材选用、预习与总结、授课语言、教学方法、教学手段、实践教学和考核方式等方面进行了探索与实践,实现了高质量的全英文教学,使学生在专业知识和英语能力两个方面都获得了显著提高。

English teaching is an important way for cultivating talents with international vision,international communication ability and international competitiveness.Based on SWOT analysis of current all English teaching situation in domestic universities,exploration and practice are performed in the all English teaching of"Database Principles and Applications"course,including textbook selection,preparation and summary,teaching language,teaching methods,teaching means,practice teaching and assessment methods.As a result,English teaching of high quality is implemented in the course,and students have greatly improved in two aspects of professional knowledge and Englis ability.
