The poem Rainy Alley is an early and famous work of Dai Wangshu and has been praised by Ye Shengtao as"stepping into a new syllable era for new poetry".This essay,through the analysis of the form,rhyme and images of the original text and based on the comparison between English version by Gregory B.Lee and other versions,explores the skills and strategies applied in translating the poem.
