Concept Characteristics and Educational Value of Core Competency

“核心素养”具备“多元面向”“多元场域”“多元功能”“高阶复杂”“长期培育”等特质,核心素养乃是一系列“多元面向”组合而成的整体,涵盖知识、能力与态度;核心素养具有跨越各种社会场域与学习领域等“多元场域”之广度;具备促进个人实现与社会发展之“多元功能”;牵涉反省思考的高阶心智及复杂性行动学习的“高阶复杂”之深度,而且必须通过各教育阶段的“长期培育”,具有教育价值。

There are five concept characteristics of core competency,i.e.multi dimension,multi fields,multi function,higher order of complexity and long period education.Specifically,the core competency is a whole concept combines with a set of multi dimension,covering knowledge,ability and attitude.It has the breadth of multi field across various social fields and learning fields.At the same time,it has the multi function to promote personal realization and social development.It also has the depth of higher order of complexity involving reflection and complex action learning.And it must become long period education through all stages of education.Therefore,the core competency has educational value.
