Network language,as a variant of traditional language,is not only a linguistic and cultural phenomenon in modern society but also a social phenomenon,profoundly affecting all aspects of social life.From the perspective of social psychology,this paper analyzes the psychological motivation of the use and spread of network language and then reveals the influence of network language on contemporary society.
