在修筑长城的问题上秦始皇不但没有历史功绩,而且还有历史罪责。李世民、玄烨不修筑长城,实际上只有一只手,是片面的。所谓的"万里长城万里空"是错误的。《春秋穀梁传》和穀梁学者对于孟姜女哭倒长城的传说的形成具有决定性的作用和影响。如果丧失了人民的支持、不顾人民的死活、使人民没有活路、否定人民的作用,长城是会崩塌的。治本之策是一方面要发展经济,另一方面要实现民主。

When it comes to the construction of the Great Wall,Qin Shihuang(The First Emperor of Qin)did not have any historical contribution but historical guilt.Li Shimin and Hiowan Yei(Emperor Kangxi)did not build the Great Wall,but in fact there was one hand,which was onesided.The so-called"the Great Wall is the Great empty"is wrong.Chun-qiu-gu-liang-zhuan and scholars of it had a critical influence on the formation of Meng Jiang Nu’s legend that her crying caused the crash of the Great Wall.Without the support of the people,regardless of people's life,people have no way out,denying the role of the people,and the spirit of the Great Wall will collapse.The fundamental cure is to develop the economy on the one hand and democracy on the other.
