孔子的女性观——兼论“唯女子与小人难养也”

Confucius and Women: a Discussion of “Only the Woman and the Villains are Difficult to Support”

对于《论语》中"唯女子与小人为难养也"这句话,有很多学者从文字训诂等各个方面做出了新的解释,都在力图证明孔子并没有歧视女性的意思。这些新的解释都有缺陷。从孔子生活的时代背景来看,孔子思想中确实应该存在着一定的男尊女卑的观念。否认孔子对女性地位的看法,无益于女权问题在当今社会的解决。看待女性的权益问题,我们即要面对历史和现实,又要注重吸收孔子的"仁"学思想。

Many scholars have made different comprehension about"Only the woman and the villains are difficult to support."They all attempt to testify that Confucius never discriminated women.But their arguments are defective.There should be a certain concept of female subordination from the historical background of Confucius.It is useless to women蒺s rights to deny Confucius蒺s view on women in today蒺s society.We should face the reality and absorb Confucius蒺s"ren"when dealing with the problem.
