As a new institution of higher education aiming at serving the national lifelong learning,there are many problems to be solved during its high-quality development.The construction of Open University should be guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,especially,by the important statement on the high-quality development.Open University should be efficient in satisfying the people's hope and desire for a better life with innovation as the primary force,coordination as the essential requirement,greenness as the distinct characteristics,openness as the basic principle,and sharing as the significant point,so as to take the lead in high-quality development.
