As the rail traffic is gradually attached to the attention of all walks of life,the competition of rail manufacturing enterprises has been intensified.Supply chain management is the core part of enterprise system planning,and its management quality is related to the operation cost control and comprehensive competitiveness of the enterprise.Therefore,strengthening the supply chain management has become an urgent task for the rail vehicle enterprises to solve.From the angle of purchasing supply chain management,the paper analyzes the importance of supply chain management to the development of rail transportation enterprises,effectively improves the level of the supply chain management of the rail vehicle manufacturing units and provides constructive suggestions for its better adaptation to the market competition.
