Big data has been widely used in various fields and has brought far-reaching influence to archival work since it was proposed.The paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges that archival work may meet in the big data era,puts forward that we should adhere to the original records of archives,the nature and basic principles of archival work.At the same time,when combining with times and innovating constantly,we should accept the diverse archival information resources in a tolerant and peaceful way,dig out the archival information with advanced technologies,then provide the archival information to the public by colorful means of spread and ultimately promote the healthy development of archival work.
