高桥驿古城历史演变探究

Research on the Historic Evolution of Ancient Courier Station Gaoqiao

高桥铺驿城在宁古塔—吉林乌拉—盛京—山海关—京师驿路中,位于第三十二站——高桥站,又称高儿铺驿城,明季属宁远卫城附驿,清代沿用,位于今辽宁省葫芦岛高桥镇高桥村"高桥城子"。据《锦州府志·锦县附郭》:"高桥城,城(府治)西南五十里,周围一里二十四步,东一门,曰高桥铺。镇后街有砖城墙遗存,及万历六年三月十四日吉旦立高桥铺花岗岩石门额存世。"

Gaoqiao,also called Gaoqiao Pu or Gaoer Pu,was the 32nd station in the post road of Ningguta-Wula,Jilin-Shengjing-Shanhaiguan-Jingshi,which was the assistant courier station of Ji Ning Yuan city of Ming dynasty.It was still in use in Qing dynasty and located in Gaoqiao village,Gaoqiao town of Huludao city in Liaoning province.According to Nearby Towns of Jinxian in Annals of Jinzhou,Gaoqiao was 50 miles away from Jinxian with an area of 1 mile and 24 paces.A brick wall was left in the back street of the town that was built on March 14th of the 6th year of Wanli.
