As one of the excellent group in universities,volunteers can be treated as models for other students and have great advantages in leading others to practice the socialist core values.New media provides great opportunities as well as severe challenges for college students to practices the socialist core values.From the point of college volunteers,this paper will discuss how to make full use of their modeling role in enhancing the effectiveness of the socialist core values among the university students with the help of new media.
