“一带一路”倡议对大学英语听说课程的启示

Enlightenment of “One Belt and One Road” Proposal to College English Listening and Speaking Course

"一带一路"倡议的提出,对大学英语听说课程教学具有重要的启示作用。通过对湖北工程学院非英语专业学生的大学英语听说课程学习状况进行调查,发现了学校对学生英语听说能力培养重视不足、教材选择跟不上时代发展及语音室设备陈旧等相关问题。根据"一带一路"伟大工程对未来所需人才的培养目标要求,应从教学内容改革、教材改革及考核评价体系改革等方面来提高大学英语听说课程的教学质量。

The “One Belt and One Road” proposal has an important enlightenment for college English listening and speaking course. By investigating the non-English major students’ college English listening and speaking course learning situation of Hubei Engineering University, it found that the university paid less attention to the students’ English listening and speaking ability; the teaching material selection couldn’t keep pace with times development; the language lab equipment was old. Given the “Great Project” need of talent cultivation for the future requirements, the teaching content, teaching material and evaluation system and so on need reforming to improve the teaching quality of college English listening and speaking course.
