A Defense of Free Will——Based on the Interpretation of Neuroscience and Humanistic Spirit

自由意志和决定论的争论由来已久,尤其是神经科学领域里贝特实验及其后续各种翻版实验证明自由意志是一种错觉之后,争论变得更加激烈。而持有一种相容性观点不失为一种明智的选择:既肯定了决定论又保留了自由意志的合理存在意义。这里不仅要为自由意志作辩护,而且认为自由意志的作用更胜于决定论的影响,并基于神经科学研究和人文精神需要的视角上作出说明。

It is a long time of the debate about free will and determinism.Especially with the Libet’s experiment and subsequent versions of the experiments which show that free will is an illusion,the argument becomes more intense in the neural domain.However,it is a wise choice to accept the compatibility:both determinism and the rational existence of free will are preserved.Here is not only to defend free will do,moreover,the author thinks the role of free will is more influential than the determinism,which accounts for the perspective of neuroscience research and the humanities spirit needs on.
