西瓜新品种‘榆农10号’的选育

Breeding of a new watermelon cultivar ‘Yunong No.10’

‘榆农10号’西瓜是以‘M6’为母本、‘F8’为父本杂交育成的二倍体西瓜新品种。全生育期85~90 d,果实发育期30 d左右。果实圆形,果形指数1.0,绿底覆墨绿色条带。瓜瓤大红色,瓤质沙脆,口感好,中心可溶性固形物含量12%(ω,后同),边部10%,中边梯度较小,籽粒中等大小。果皮厚度1.1~1.2 cm,坚韧较耐贮运。植株长势强,田间抗枯萎病且耐病毒病,抗逆性强,较抗旱。主蔓长度约2.5 m,分枝能力较强,第1雌花在4~6节出现,以后隔4~5节再现雌花,易坐果,商品瓜率95%以上。单瓜质量6 kg左右,667 m2产量4 200 kg左右。适应性强,适宜陕西及相似生态区种植。2016年通过陕西省非主要农作物品种审定委员会登记。

‘Yunong No.10’is a new watermelon F1 hybrid.Its female parent is‘M6’and male parent is‘F8’.The growing period is 85-90 d and fruit developing period is 30 d.The fruit is round shaped with green skin and dark green stripes,and the fruit shape index is 1.0.The bright red flesh is crisp and delicious.The center soluble solids content is 12%.The rind is 1.1-1.2 cm,with excellent ductile and storage quality.It produces medium strong plant with good general resistance.The main stem length is about 2.5 m with medium branching ability.The first female flower appears on section 4 to 6,with 4-5 female interval section.The variety is easy fruit setting with a commodity fruit rate of more than 95%.The single fruit weight is about 6 kg,and the yield on 667 m2 is about 4200 kg.The variety has strong adaptability and is suitable for cultivation in Yulin and similar climates areas.
