Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is a chronic inflammatory disease which lead to damages including spine,sacroiliac joint and the surrounding minor joints.It is also as known as Marie-strümpell disease,Von Bechterew or rheumatic spondylitis.It is a kind of occult disease and easy to miss.It can cause spine stiffness and affect the motion function.The reasonable diagnosis is important for improving the prognosis for patients.This paper summarizes the treatment progress of this disease based on the latest diagnostic guidelines and the clinical experience.
