[Purpose/significance]The paper is to discuss the changes and evolution of library service mode in the era of artificial intelligent(AI).[Method/process]The paper takes the application of face recognition technology in AI in library as an example,expounds the principles,functions and features,and technological advantages of the technology,and analyzes the application direction of AI technology in library,and the influence on and challenge to the service mode.[Result/conclusion]The application of AI in library is the development demand of the times.The more mature AI technology should be integrated into the library management from multi-dimensions,so as to push the library in a direction of intelligent.
