论制造业运输业协同发展关系——新经济地理理论视角

摘要 文章构建一个涵盖运输部门和制造业部门在内的新经济地理理论模型,用以说明制造业和运输业长期相互协同发展的作用机理。模型采用了"1+2"的空间设定,即一个制造业产地与两个消费地。模型可以得出两地区非对称且内生的运输成本,在长期均衡中,生产要素是否受约束、运输企业数量以及区域规模将对运输成本产生怎样的影响等结论。运输业制造业协同发展体现在,长期中制造业企业将在不断降低的运费中获益,促进企业数量和产品种类增加,运输业随制造业发展而发展,运量不断提高,企业利润增加。模型结果表明,在一定条件下,运输产业相对发达的地区将成为核心区,因此在实践中有必要重视运输产业的发展。 This paper builds an New Economic Geography model which includes manufacture and transportation袁indicating how the two sectors coordinate with each other in the long run.Specifically袁this model adopts'1+2'regions structure involves one production area and two consumption area.Through this set-up袁this model can conclude the asymmetric and endogenous transport costs which affected by production inputs constraints袁numbers of transportation companies and region scale.The coordinated relationship of manufacture and transportation embodies in two aspects.The manufacture companies gain benefits from the increasing number of transportation companies through the falling transport costs.On the other hand袁the transportation companies receive much more transportation quantities and earn more profits.This model also shows that袁under some conditions袁relatively developed transportation will help the region become the core.
