当历史之恶与现实之恶相遇——论《认罪书》

作为70后的重要作家之一,乔叶在《认罪书》中大篇幅地叙写了有关"文革"的故事。小说通过将都市男女的恋爱故事、家庭秘密和"文革"的故事相互糅合,表现出"文革"历史和当下现实社会中的几种罪恶,并描述了对待历史罪恶的不同态度。作者藉由小说想表达的是,暴露在"文革"中的民族文化传统的劣根性(忏悔文化的缺失)如果不得到深刻地反思与清理,那么它将继续延续下去,贻害无穷。但小说把几种在不同的条件与环境下产生的恶混淆在一起,未能辨清它们之间的联系与区别,导致小说在反思"文革"历史、理解当下社会问题的力度和深度上大打折扣。

Qiao Ye writes many stories about the Cultural Revolution in Confession Statement.By blending the love stories and family secrets of the urban men and women with the stories of the Cultural Revolution,the author demonstrates several evils in the history of the Cultural Revolution and the real society,and describes the different attitudes towards the evil of history.What the author wants to express is that,if the national cultural traditions of the evil(the lack of confession culture)that were exposed in the Cultural Revolution can not be deeply reflected and cleared,it will continue and cause endless troubles.But the novel confuses several kinds of evil generated under different conditions and environment,and fails to distinguish the differences and connections among them.This leads to a great reduction in the strength and depth of the novel’s reflection on the history of the Cultural Revolution and the understanding of the current social problems.
