“诚”载过去——比较视野下解读当代建筑遗产保护和设计创作中的东亚思维

A TRUE WAY BEARS THE PAST: ABOUT EAST-ASIAN THOUGHTS IN PROTECTION AND DESIGN OF ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE WITH A COMPARATIVE METHOD

建筑是重要的历史载体。在当代,传统建筑和街区的保护更新及结合传统的现代设计中都需要梳理面对历史的态度和方式,如何以恰当的建筑语言导引一条"诚"载过去之路值得我们好好思考。既往实践中我们引入和复制了大量的西方模式,造成水土不服和诸多破坏性的建设。而事实上如何面对历史传统,东西方建筑具有跨文化的差异。文章探讨了东亚和西方建筑文化发展中关于建筑记忆、物质和精神统一性的不同态度,以及所引发建造观念的差异,提出当代中国在遗产保护和设计中如何表达东亚思维与审美的几个观点。

Architecture is always regarded as a vehicle for expressing the past during the construction of historic buildings and areas or modern designs with tradition.But in China lots of design concepts and methods from the West have been introduced and adopted which led to damages to local culture.In fact Chinese civilization reveals very clearly,in its architecture,that the impulse to build in China,and its counterpart in the Western traditions,were vastly different.Likewise,the substance of buildings,and the spirits in preserving and transmitting the values of antiquity,differed.The paper has discussed different thoughts and aesthetic between East-Asia and the West about rememberance,unity of materials and spirits,and construction concept,which will lead to some points about how to express East-Asian thoughts and aesthetic in contemporary Chinese architectural design and heritage protection.
