“好”的教育改革缘何失败?

Why Does the "Good" Education Reform Fail

理论上讲,真正的教育改革应该基于现实的教育问题而进行。这样的教育改革正是我们通常意义上的好的教育改革,理当获得成功。但实际上,教育改革的复杂性超出了人们的想象,不仅仅是教育改革本身的"好"与"坏",而且教育改革的成功与失败都是通过话语来表征的,都是价值负载的,需要我们通过对改革及其评价话语的分析来揭示教育改革的复杂性。"好"的教育改革通常是改革启动者言说的,是出于改革宣传与推广需要的,并不意味着所有的教育改革都真的好。真正好的教育改革我们当然希望其成功,但是改革的过程总是不确定的,甚至有可能出现改革的反复与倒退。因此,我们对待真正的改革应该多一点耐心和包容,将好事办好。而那些打着教育改革的旗号,但实质上并非真正关心教育,关心儿童发展,甚至对教育的发展有害,改革受众则会群起而反对之,最终不免走向失败的境地。这再次提醒改革发起者要慎重决策、科学决策、民主决策,多做合情合理的事情,不合情合理的事情尽量少做。

Theoretically speaking,the real education reform should be carried out on the basis of realistic educational problem.Such education reform is good educational reform in general sense,and so should succeed.But in fact,the complexity of education reform is beyond people's imagination.Not only the good of education reform,but also the success and failure of education reform are characterized by words.They are valueloaded,so we need to reveal their complexity through the analysis of the discourse of reform and its evaluation."Good"education reform is usually said by reform initiators out of the need for the propaganda and promotion,which does not mean that all educational reforms are really good.We really hope that a truly good educational reform will succeed,but the process of reform is always uncertain,even recurrent and backward.Therefore,we should be more patient and tolerant towards real reform,and do well in good things.Those reforms under the banner of reform of education,but in fact not really care about education and care for children's development,even harmful to the development of education will be against by the audience and eventually fail.This reminds the reformers to make careful decisions,scientific decisions,democratic decisions,and do more reasonable things.
