From the point of view of Moshi chieftain in Xincheng County,this paper explores how Moshi chieftain,as a regional minority ruler,viewed Confucianism in Great Plains and how they used Confucianism in their administration.Through the interpretation of the documents by ethnic rulers,the paper focuses on the motives,main purposes of the use of Confucianism in Great Plains and their endeavoring,aiming to show the powerful influence of Confucianism.
