Comparison Between Processing Techniques for Foam Profile Frustum of Cone Shape Cant

用泡沫型材制作模型是一种节约成本的有效途径,具有原料轻、制模操作轻巧灵便、工艺简单、生产周期短等优点,但用泡沫型材制作模型时,需要解决圆台形斜面加工的问题。结合实践简要介绍了圆台形斜面的传统加工、数控铣床加工和电阻丝加工方法,分析了三种加工工艺的特点,给出了三种工艺相应的加工范围。

Foam profile is used to make model,it has great advantages of low cost,light material,easy operation,simplified processing technique and short production cycle and so on.For this,the processing technique for cant frustum of a cone shape needs to be solved.This paper briefly introduces the traditional processing method,the numerical control milling machine processing method and the resistance wire processing method for frustum of a cone,analyses the characteristics of three kinds of processing technologies and presents the processing ranges of three technologies.
