摘要
为了使振荡光束在谐振腔往返周期内四次通过Nd:YAG晶体,搭建了V型折叠双通LD脉冲侧面泵浦激光器实验平台。首次与往返周期内两次通过Nd:YAG介质的普通直腔激光器的激光输出特性进行对比分析。实验结果表明,在注入能量55mJ,输出镜透过率为48%时,V型折叠腔和直腔输出能量分别为13.2mJ和7.8mJ,整体转化效率提高10%,即V型折叠腔激光器具有降低激光阈值,提高激光输出能量的优点。理论分析验证了实验结果。对中小功率泵浦激光器输出性能的改善和提高具有借鉴意义。
An experimental platform of V folded double pass LD pulse side pumped laser is built,which purpose is the oscillating beam four passes through the Nd:YAG crystal in the resonant cavity round-trip cycle.For the first time,the difference of the laser output characteristics is analyzed,which difference is between the conventional straight cavity laser of double passing through the Nd:YAG medium in the round-trip cycle and V folded four times pass.The experimental results show that when the injection energy is 55mJ and the transmittance of the output mirror is 48%,the output energy of the V folded cavity and the straight cavity are 13.2mJ and 7.8mJ respectively,the overall conversion efficiency is increased by 10%.That is to say,the V folded cavity laser has the advantages of reducing the laser threshold and increasing the output energy of the laser.It has reference significance to enhance and improve the output performance of small and medium-power pump lasers.
